Have you ever walked into a cartoon?
Every wall, every chair, every cup at 2D Café Beloved is hand-drawn in black and white — so the only colour in the room is what lands on your plate. Japanese soufflé pancakes, Korean bingsu and ceremonial matcha from Kyoto.
Open daily from 10:00 · Walk-ins only, no reservations needed
Three very good reasons
Soufflé Pancakes
Japanese-style pancakes whipped, griddled and stacked to order. They jiggle when you poke them. Nine flavours, from Lotus Biscoff to Pistachio Nutella.
Korean Bingsu
Shaved milk ice built on condensed milk, layered with purées, sago pearls and cream. Bowls for dine-in, cups to take away.
Kyoto Matcha
Ceremonial matcha from Kyoto, made from hand-picked leaves of the very first spring harvest. Eleven ways to drink it.

A café drawn by hand
The name comes from Japanese manga: everything in the room is flattened to two dimensions and outlined in black pen. Cornices, chandeliers, picture frames, the Liberty Bridge on the back wall — all of it drawn, none of it real.
Sit down and you stop being a customer for a second and start being a character. It is the most photographed room in the district for a reason, and it is the reason people bring friends back a second and third time.
The ones people queue for
A short list of the favourites. The full menu runs to fifty-plus items across pancakes, bingsu, matcha, coffee and tea.
What guests say
Reviews left on Google by guests at 2D Café Beloved, exactly as they were written.

[…] Nagyon hangulatos hely, kiváló ízekkel. Kiváló randihelyszín!”
