Who is responsible for your data
Balintweb (sole trader, Budapest, Hungary), contact: inquireforwebsite@balintweb.com, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
If you have any question about this policy or about the data held about you, email the address above and you will receive a reply.
What data is collected
Data you send voluntarily. If you use the contact form or email directly, you send your name, email address, business type, indicated budget and the content of your message. Nothing more is required.
No hidden collection. This website does not use advertising trackers, does not build visitor profiles and does not sell data to anyone.
How the contact form works
The contact form on this site does not store anything on a server. Submitting it opens your own email application with the details filled in, and the message is sent from your own email account, exactly as if you had written it yourself.
That means the only copy of your enquiry is in your sent items and in the Balintweb inbox.
Why the data is used
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you become a client, to carry out the agreed work and issue invoices.
The legal basis is your consent when you contact voluntarily, and the performance of a contract once work is agreed. Invoicing data is kept where Hungarian accounting law requires it.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months.
Client correspondence and project files are kept for the duration of the working relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards. Invoices are kept for the period required by Hungarian law (currently 8 years).
Who else sees it
Your data is not sold or shared for marketing. It may be processed by the email provider used to receive and send messages, and, if you become a client, by the hosting provider and accountant involved in delivering the work. Each of these processes data on Balintweb’s instructions only.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own and does not run analytics or advertising scripts.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers and your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request. If you would prefer this not to happen, the fonts can be hosted locally instead. Ask and it will be changed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Email inquireforwebsite@balintweb.com and your request will be handled within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), naih.hu.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
