Freelance web developer · Budapest
I'm Bálint, a freelance web developer building modern, fast, mobile-friendly websites for restaurants, barbershops and small businesses in Budapest and across Europe. I'm early in my career, so my rates sit well under market. My standards don't.

Why me
Most small business sites go live in one to three weeks, not months.
Designed for phones first, because that's where most of your customers are.
Clean structure, fast loading and proper tags so Google can actually find you.
Updates, backups and small fixes handled after launch, if you want them.
How it works
A short call or email exchange. What your business does, who you want to reach, and what the site needs to achieve. Free, no obligation.
You get a design and a fixed price before any building starts. Changes at this stage cost nothing, so this is where we get it right.
The real thing, on your domain, tested on phones, tablets and desktops. You see progress as it happens.
We go live together. After that I can keep it updated, backed up and secure, or hand you the keys. Your call.
What I do
Design, build, and keep it running. You can take all three or just the part you need.
Design
Before anything gets built, you see exactly what you're paying for. I design around your business, your customers and what you actually want visitors to do: book a table, call you, walk through the door.
Development
Fast, clean, and built to be found. Hand-coded for maximum speed, or WordPress with Elementor if you want to make your own edits later. We pick whichever suits how you'll actually use the site.
Aftercare
A website isn't furniture. It needs looking after. If you'd rather not think about updates, backups and broken plugins, I'll handle it monthly so you can get on with running your business.
Why bother
“Best barber near me” is how customers decide now. If you're not there, you're not on the list.
A Facebook page on its own makes people hesitate. A proper site settles the question before they call or book.
Hours, prices, menu, booking. People get what they need at 11pm without waiting for you to reply.
No algorithm deciding who sees your posts, no account locked overnight. The site stays yours.
Add-ons
| SEO setup | Keyword research, on-page optimisation and Google Search Console set up properly. |
| Google Business | Your business on Google Maps with photos, hours and a link back to your site. |
| Branding basics | Colour palette, font pairing and simple logo work if you're starting from nothing. |
| Copywriting help | If staring at a blank page is the reason you don't have a site yet, I'll help write it. |
| Domain & hosting | Registered, connected, SSL enabled, email forwarding sorted. |
| Analytics | See how many people visit, where they come from and what they click. |
Pricing
Every project is quoted individually. I'd rather price your actual site than sell you a package you don't need. Here's the shape of it.

Recent work
I'm at the beginning, and I'm not going to pad this page with someone else's work or invented clients. Here's what's being built, and exactly what you get in every project.
A menu-first site with online booking and Google Maps built in.
Price list, team profiles and a one-tap booking button.
Services, service area and contact details that convert.
Every project
The size of the site changes. This list doesn't.
Tested on phones, tablets and desktops before launch, not just resized and hoped for.
Compressed images and lean code, so your site opens quickly even on mobile data.
Proper titles, descriptions, heading structure and alt text on every page from day one.
Working contact forms, tappable phone numbers, maps and booking links.
SSL enabled and set up so browsers don't warn people away from your site.
I don't disappear the moment it goes live. Questions get answered.
About me
A solo freelance web developer based in Budapest, building quality websites under market price while I grow my portfolio.
I design and build websites on my own. No account managers, no handing your project to someone you've never spoken to. When you email, I'm the one who replies, and I'm the one who fixes it.
I'm early in my freelance career and I don't pretend otherwise. What that means in practice: my prices are well under what an agency would charge, and I care more than they would, because every site I finish is a site I'll be showing to the next client.
I work in English and Hungarian, with restaurants, barbershops, small shops and anyone else who's tired of not having a site, or tired of the one they've got.
How I work
No jargon, no acronyms designed to make you feel lost. If I can't explain it simply, I'll keep trying until I can.
You get a number in writing before I start. It doesn't move unless you ask for something new, and then you'll know first.
Most of your customers will see your site on a phone. That's where I start, not where I compromise.
If you don't need the thing you're asking for, I'll tell you, even when it would be an easy upsell.
Toolkit
The right tool for your budget and how much you want to do yourself.
Contact
Tell me about your business and what you need. You'll get a real reply from me, usually within 24 hours, with a plan and a price. No cost, no pressure.
The more you tell me, the more useful my first reply will be.

Questions
Everything here is the real Balintweb copy. Only the presentation changed: Quantico type, bevelled panels, XP-blue title bars and a taskbar, instead of the indigo scrolling layout of the live site.
